A website re-design for author and podcaster, Emma Conway
Emma Conway is a well-known blogger, podcaster, social media personality and author with over 150k followers.
She approached us for advice on updating her blog, which she originally started during the internet blogging “boom” of the 2010s. As her work portfolio has grown, she became in need of a website overhaul, to make sure all of her recent projects were included, front and centre, rather than hidden in the sidebar of a traditional blog-style design.
As Emma had built up significant media coverage, we were careful to pay extra attention to keeping the backlinks to her many blog articles in tact.
We began the project by fully exploring the capabilities of the Blogger platform, and then mocked up a design which would be compatible.
The colour palette and styling of the designs were created with the existing logo and Emma’s personality in mind.
After a lot of custom coding, the finished website was totally transformed from an outdated blog-style layout, to something fresh and vibrant, whilst still maintaining the SEO integrity which had been built up over a decade.
